About the role We are currently seeking a highly experienced and professional Above Award Armed Security Officer to join our team full-time in Sydney. This dynamic role involves working in a 4x4 Rotating Roster (Monday-Sunday) and across a range of sensitive environments, including schools, aged care facilities, and high-security locations. Licenses/Certifications: You must have the following credentials for your employment application to be considered. Cert II in Security Operations – (SLED) Statement of Attainment CPPSEC3101-CPPSEC3102-CPPSEC3103 (SLED) NSW Security Licence with the following categories 1A-1F (SLED) Current Advanced First Aid Certificate HLTAID014 Drivers Licence Statement of Attainment CPPSEC3114 – Control security risk situations using firearms Statement of Attainment CPPSEC3116 – Carry, operate and maintain semi-automatic pistols for security purposes Current Working with Children Check Police Check (nothing more than 3-4 months old) Key Responsibilities Provide armed security services at critical infrastructure, educational, and aged care facilities Conduct foot patrols and maintain a safe, secure environment Deter suspicious or unlawful activity through high-visibility presence Respond to incidents and escalate issues professionally and appropriately Provide concise and accurate reports to management Communicate effectively with clients, staff, and members of the public Maintain a high standard of personal presentation and conduct Work flexibly on a rotating roster (Monday to Sunday) To be available to work on a 4x4 rotating roster (Monday to Sunday) Who we are Challenger Security (NSW M/L: 410 392 764) is a leading provider of premium security and concierge services, trusted by some of the world’s most recognised brands.
